I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

Do you recycle these?

Wait!  Before you throw these away, you can

reuse them.  You may pick them up at the grocery store or the farmer's market.  Typically, berries come in them.  They can be rinsed out and set to dry so that you can re-use them.  Our raspberries are almost ripe for picking and these will come in very handy.  Don't have your own berry patch?  Ask at your farmer's market; they cost money for the farmer to purchase and the farmer may be appreciative of your offer to recycle them.
There are local eggs being sold everywhere!  Read my fresh egg post here.  Don't throw away your egg cartons!  They can also be re-used if clean; again saving the local egg farmer money.
