I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

A view from the kitchen window; will it really snow tonight?

We set all kinds of warm temperature records during the past week but things are changing.  We expect some snow tomorrow before turning to an icy rain.  I snapped this photo this morning and it reminds me of the rhyme we said as children:

Pink sky at night,
Sailor's delight.
Pink sky in morning,
Sailors take warning.

The plow is on the Jeep just in case!

A few old trucks with character.

It's the color that we love on this beauty!
Wouldn't it be fun to have this show up for your AAA call?
This one is in terrific shape and it's another wonderful color.
Here's one that's a little more "dare devil" than the others!
This one's for sale and it's absolutely adorable.  If I were a farmer attending a farmer's market every week, I'd like this to be my vehicle.  Can't you just picture it with your logo on the side?  It's on the coast of Maine and all of the information is right here for you.  Use area code 207 if you call!

Since it's parked in the garden, it should have flowers in the bed!
They just don't make them like they used to!
So much fun on the Maine coast!
