I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

Easter Memories

Sharing fond memories of Easter past.  We bought new Easter outfits for church and we used boiling water when coloring eggs without burning ourselves.  Yes, it was the 60's.

Coloring eggs was a special time in our house.
The hunt was serious.

Apparently my brother and I tied at five a piece.  I think I was still half asleep!

After church, it was Easter dinner at my grandparents and another egg hunt with our cousins.  I remember being offered ten dollars if we found an egg from the previous year!

We were a very stylish bunch.

But my mother always won for best hat.  Those were the good old days!

Have a blessed and happy Easter!
