I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

A shiny consignment find.

 Since we're renovating a 200 year old

house, we're always on the lookout for a great antique find that we can use.  Our house was built in 1810 and there's a lot of evidence of architectural changes over the decades.
Although those changes are to be expected, we may not always approve of them.  Our doors have many different handles, pulls and knobs.
We love the weight of these fabulous glass knobs.
These will be used where several knobs are broken or missing.
This was in our last house.  Love it.
