I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

Some seasonal decor in Boston's Back Bay.

A trip to the city isn't complete without a walk around Back Bay.  While many things have changed over the years, some things seem timeless.

A traditional wreath dressed with a red bow.

I love the use of birch logs in a holiday display.

A lovely non-traditional pair of wreaths.
The gold accents on the wreath compliment the brass handle and kick plate on the door.

A bit contemporary.

So inviting!
A very simple but elegant window.
