I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

It's a foggy July morning in the garden.

It's hard to believe July is here but I was greeted by fog in the garden before the sun quickly burned it off.  My favorite time of the day.

These hydrangeas are finally coming back.  They were underneath an evergreen that was stunting their growth.

The red Bee Balm is a hummingbird favorite.

This poor oak leaf hydrangea was planted in the shade when we bought the house.  It truly appreciates the sunshine.
Fog brings out the color!

A sea of orange; muted by fog.
A favorite place to sit...the lavender smells wonderful.
This is a box full of wildflower seed.  It never disappoints.
So peaceful.  Enjoyed with a morning coffee.
