I've often heard children say, "There's nothing to do today". I beg to differ. I'd like to inspire you to do something. Anything. Read. Bake. Hike. Fish. Plant. Sail. Climb. Play. Reach. Move. Laugh. Dream; and take time to sit with me on The Old Granite Step.

The waning Autumn garden.

The colors of fall are

everywhere!  The impending frost for later this week drew me outdoors to take a few late season photos.

The bugs seem to work in a bit of a frenzy.  Perhaps the cool breeze carries their fate.

Spectacular!

A few spring pansies are hanging on.
The perfect pumpkin.

Seeds to harvest for next year's garden.

The potting bench.

 Late season lavender.

 A goldfinch favorite.

The last tiny pink bloom reminds us what we can expect next spring.
